Main Street Trip

This afternoon, I walked from Broadway to the 49th Avenue on Main Street just to buy samosa.
The #3 bus was not running, and apparently the cause of the stoppage was what you see in the picture (the cable).
When I finally reached the 40th Avenue, the #3 buses came in droves.
But I walked the remainder of the route anyway.

After procuring the lunch,

I walked on to Fraser, and I ate one samosa on the bench at the library,
and then I took #8 bus back.

There was some commotion in the vehicle.
Some particularly annoying adolescents were
showing off their knack for foul languages to impress their peers.
A Translink employee, who happened to be taking a ride, nearly blew his top.

At the Beach

Wednesday. It was windy. I stopped and ate bagles on the bench.

Breaking of the Daylight

Boy, it was windy, and it rained A LOT.
A piece of blue sky, tomorrow at last?
(Sunday, it turned out to be a beautiful day.
I would have gone for a hike instead of watching the game,
had it not been for the Seahawks.)

I'm not even a football fan any more,
but I'm hoping the Seahawks will win the Super Bowl XL.
XL, my waist line will be, if I eat so much during the game.
(Actually, I wear 30-inch jeans. Even 29. It's true.)

*The Steelers just won.
There was a brilliant gadget play.
I think the interception in 3rd quarter
proved to be too costly for the Seahawks.

I don't care much for football anyway,
but I just wanted Seattle to win a major sports title.
