Happy 250th, Mozart!

This Day in 1756, Mozart was born!
(Is there anyone who still doesn't know about it among Radio2 listeners?)

Ah, how much I loved his clarinet works!
(I still do.)

I loved this morning's program, Here's to You.
And I'm sure I will like tonight's Northern Lights.
(Indeed I am listening to it right now.)

In honor of Mozart's music, I salute the hosts of CBC Radio2 who have been doing a wonderful job to keep us informed and entertained.

The photograph has nothing to do with Mozart -- it's just my clarinet, which has given me hours of joy and frustration in occasions. I thought it deserves to be on this blog!

Ma, chi sei?

Dovunque vada, troverei un gatto simpatico.

Everywhere I go, I talk to cats.
This particular cat was trying
to jump out of the window of a second-floor appartment.

Pranzo con il mio migliore compagno

Je ne veux pas travailler
(Non!)
Je ne veux pas déjeuner
(Mais, oui!)
Je veux seulement l'oublier,
et puis je mange!

Avalon Dairy Revisited

Wales Street, last visited on April 27, 2004.
There were two little boys playing catch
on the front yard of the dairy that day.

I like the houses on the 43rd Ave. between Wales and Earles.
I said hi to the woman
whose house has lots of ornaments in the front yard.
She has a lovely dog.

Happy New Year 2006

When this game started, it was 2005,
but when it was over, it was 2006!
What are the odds of that!

Bonne année, tout le monde!
